From Beginner to Fitness Fundi! We love a good story and when the protagonist rises above adversity and fist-pumps to her achievements in meeting her best self, we get quite excited.
Zinzi joined Thrive Fitness in August 2019, and in her first 4 months, she lost 16kg!
She attributes this to a lot of hard work and commitment on her part, a change in her eating habits, and a welcoming, friendly and supportive training environment. (That’s how we roll at Thrive Fitness!)
For all those who are at a T-Junction in their pursuit of a balanced lifestyle, take a read and know that ANYONE can meet their best self. Yes, it will be tough. Yes, it will make you want to scream and give up. But, at the end of the day, you’ll thank yourself for giving it a go. Much like Zinzi did.
Zinzi went from zero to 5 classes a week. That made us excited and also a little worried. We often see newbies go all out and then peter out after a month. But, not our Zinzi! She embraced the regularity and took part in the HIIT classes, both indoor and outdoor. The diversity kept her motivated and inspired to come back for more. “No boredom here!”
The Results after 4 months?
· Zinzi lost 16kg in 4 months so far – that’s a 1 kg a week!
· She is sleeping better
· She has way more energy than before
· Her confidence levels are up
· And, she is already planning the next goal in her fitness journey – to build more muscle
